Fails to save a note

Quite often, it fails to save a note when pressing "save" button. A message adding to task appears, but no further action is done. So I pressed "cancel" and saved as a draft, but nothing is saved on draft. This bug? ruins my notes! and on iPhone 4S, editing screen is VERY narrow, tough to edit my notes. Plus, animation is very slow.

Clever is just that...

I just downloaded it. Works great but you may have to reboot your phone if it seems slow. No big deal works great. It replaced my actual Evernote app.

Excellent

This is perhaps better than the native Evernote app. I need both of them so no issue to decide which one, but I needed just one EN client, I would just keep this one.

Freezes and crashes

Cant load notes with a lot of images. Crashes everytime. Not worth it.

Long loading

The font appears very tiny on opened notes and it freezes when opening notes with images. Not great.

Scannableとの連携

名刺をScannableでスキャンしたものをCleverで見ると、画像データが読み込まれず、使えません。

Problems with creating notes

When creating new note, I tap on the text field, but the keyboard panel does not appear.

Has great potential

Much better user interface than the company app. Especially love the drafts, bookmark, and unfinished task shortcuts. Needs a little more work though. Support for bulleted list and links would be awesome.

Needs Major Work, but Okay

The interface options are great! I also like the ability to switch between multiple accounts... But no sharing?! Also tapping the note doesnt launch the keyboard most times, so I find myself opening the real Evernote app to add content. Right now its a glorified note sorter. Needs work.

Really like this

I like this better than the Evernote app itself, however its rather slow at downloading pictures inside notes.

The almost PERFECT client for Evernote.

Clever is amazing. Nothing comes close. The icon is ugly and the price is high but I have no regrets, its almost more functional than Evernote for PC or iOS. This guy updates the app a lot so I hope he can add in passcode lock the ability to sort by notebook in saved searches.

So far, impressed.

Been an avid evernote user since 2006. Have always wanted to use the service as an integrated productivity/task solution but the mobile app requires way to many taps to sort lists. The newest version of the evernote mobile ios app, which is a radical re-write, is nice, but still emphasizes note creation over note interaction. Clever provides a simplified layout that gives direct access to tags, notebooks & saved searches from the menu bar. Not all of the options in a messy list, bit the ones you choose. This allows me to have more control over the experience and not give my folders weird names (with a "!" or "*" in front) to make that folder or tag rise to top of the list. Still putting it through its paces but I see lots of potential.

Has one very useful feature

The only reason I use Clever on my iPhone is to view notes without editing them. The official EN app makes it too easy to accidentally edit notes. However, the search function is much better on EN (can search part of word; Clever requires whole word), as is the edit function. Clever has problems updating after a note is edited. Clever does have a nice interface.

A lot to like!

I am a heavy user of Evernote and am a Premium Member. The latest update of the iPhone app has caused me to wait 40 seconds for any selected note to open. I am so glad I found Clever! It works and is easier and more fun to use.

Its an okay app

The animations and scrolling are not smooth at all and kind of ruins the experience. No crashes though, so Id have to say it is functional.

A MUST for Evernote power users

I have over 10,000 notes. This crashes the mobile app depending on the version for me. Clever is my mobile answer. Support this alternative editor...trust me, if you are a regular Evernote user, this will come in handy someday! Thanks devs! Keep developing!

WOW- makes Evernote even more useful

The best so far! ...everything Ive been missing and wanting from Evernote. Just for starters,I have quick access to specific notes that I want to return to, Theres always a quick post button on the screen to post content on the fly whenever, l I can sort and arrange my stuff as desired..AND, I can easily switch between Evernote accounts. Excellent!

Very nice

This is a great app. It lets me set up Evernote on my phone how I want it. Thanks!

High hopes but...

When I edit a note, if I press the 4-dot button above keypad, app crashes. What gives?

just great app

Works in cases where official client constantly crashes
